Our Committees are a driving force in the life of our Congregation. When we engage in the critical work of our Committees, we enrich our community and ourselves. Adult Education Committee – Plans educational programs and events for our adult congregants
Chesed Committee – Provides support to our fellow congregants in their time of need
Finance & Budget Committee – Advises our Board of Trustees in the development of our budget
Fundraising Committee – Plans fundraising events from the planning stage through execution of an event
Hospitality/Kiddush Committee – Assists in shopping for luncheons, dinners and Shabbat Kiddush
Israel Affairs Committee – Develops projects and programs that allow synagogue members to engage with Israel and Israelis
Library Committee – Works to maintain order in the library
Meet the Author – Develops and implements programs bringing authors to speak at the synagogue on a quarterly basis
Membership Committee – Includes outreach to potential new members and retention to support continued involvement of our existing members
Programming Committee – Works to help prepare events and programs for the benefit of our congregation
Religious School Committee – Serves as our Board of Education and the PTA for religious school, providing guidance to our Board of Trustees on school policies while also planning and supporting programs in the religious school
Ritual Committee – Develops and implements the policies and programs of religious services
Security Committee – Focuses on measures to protect our facility
Social Action Committee – Plans and implements our congregation’s efforts to support the broader community
Technology Committee – Supports our IT systems, website and our presence on the internet
Youth Activities Committee – Assists in planning and executing youth programs and events
