In the year and a half since October 7, 2023 it is clear that something has changed in the American Jewish landscape. What exactly has changed- is less clear. How are people deepening their connection to their Judaism in the wake of this tragedy? How have people’s Jewish practices and identity changed? How are American Jews feeling about their connection to Israel, and how are they handling the frightening increase in anti-Semitism that has re-emerged in this country and around the world? Join Rabbi Schonbrun in discussing a wonderful new book written by Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove entitled “For Such A Time As This,” about what it means to be Jewish today as we explore our past, our present, and look with hope and courage towards an unknown future. All are encouraged to read the book prior to our program.
