Jerzy Wojcik, Founder of Holocaust Memorial Partnership will join us live from Poland. Our tour will begin with topographies of the town of Auschwitz–Auschwitz I camp, Auschwitz II-Birkenau and the gas chambers. We will visit Auschwitz I building, Block #11 and a wooden barrack. Our guide Jerzy will describe prisoners’ living conditions, the Judenrampe and the selection process of Jewish groups based on the Auschwitz Album. The tour will conclude with a walk around the ruins of one of the crematoria.
We will meet in the Social Hall for introductions followed by virtual tour and Q&A.
