Our Library

Welcome to the Congregation Torat El Library.   The Library supplements everything the Rabbi talks about, what your family is learning in Religious School, and then some.  Don’t be shy!  There’s no such thing as a stupid question!  It’s YOUR Library–so please use it!

The Library is open whenever the office is open and during Religious School hours.  If the door is locked, someone in the office will be happy to unlock it. Simple directions for borrowing are on the desk if nobody is there but you.  As your Librarian, I’m glad to give help whenever you need it! Just ask – in person, via e-mail at    library@torat-el.org, or on the phone.

Almost everything in your Library is borrow-able and returnable, please. There are books for all ages for facts and fun, CDs of music and radio shows and theater, books on tape and CDs, including a extensive collection of classic Yiddish literature, magazines, DVDs, videos, CD-ROMs for learning and play, even board games for the whole family–plus much more including internet access.

You may have a specific author, title, or subject in mind.  Find out if we have something on the shelf right now by searching the online catalog at   Library Catalog.
