A note from our President…

Dear Prospective Congregant,

I am delighted that you are interested in Congregation Torat El.

We are very proud of our congregation and hope that you will find it attractive.  We strive to connect you to a heritage that we carry with pride and principle. We are both modern and traditional at the same time, believing that our Torah and its teachings are as applicable in the 21st century as they have been for the past 6,000 years.

Our services are meaningful and welcoming to all who attend, blending the traditional Hebrew liturgy with English readings.

The Jacob S. Friedman Religious School prepares our young people for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah and educates them to both function in a synagogue and to be conscious of their Jewish heritage as they go through life.

The numerous Adult Education opportunities we have offer you the chance to look at Judaism through the eyes of an energetic, enlightening, and delightful rabbi and cantor.

Our social arms- Sisterhood, Men’s Club, and Hazak- are fantastic organizations dedicated to serving and having fun.

And if you want to get involved in our leadership, numerous opportunities are always available!
