Congregation Torat El

Rabbi, Dr., Abraham Joshua Heschel was one of the  prominent Jewish figures of the 20th century. A leading rabbi, philosopher, theologian, and scholar- Heschel’s influence on the American Jewish community in general and the Conservative movement in particular cannot be overstated.  Come and join us as we spend a few weeks scratching the surface of this towering Jewish figure by exploring some of Heschel’s most significant thoughts and writings and their relevance today. As always, feel free to bring a friend- our classes are open to the community!
