It’s official…thanks to the tremendous positive response from our Torat El community, our Board of Trustees has overwhelmingly voted to move away with our current dues structure and move forward to a Sustaining Commitment Model!! Annual Community Blood Drive set for June 8th
Congregation Torat El, Oakhurst & Temple Beth Miriam, Elberon to co-sponsor
OAKHURST, NJ – Eastern Monmouth County’s largest Conservative Jewish synagogue, Congregation Torat El, in partnership with Reform congregation Temple Beth Miriam of Elberon will sponsor their annual Community Blood Drive on Monday, June 8, 4-9 pm at Congregation Torat El, 301 Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, to benefit the Central Jersey Blood Center.
Everyone is encouraged to donate. Parental consent forms for 16-year-olds are available at the Congregation Torat El and Beth Miriam business offices, or may be signed by a parent at the time of blood donation. A signature ID is required for all who donate. Giving blood takes only about 20 minutes.
Appointments are not necessary, however we encourage you to make a reservation by June 4th so that Central Jersey Blood Center can appropriately staff the event. To make an appointment, please call Mike Gordon at 732-922-3014 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Blood may be donated every 56 days, up to six times per year. Donors are urged to eat and to drink plenty of liquids prior to their appointment.
